'Impatient' West Ham supporters ask for more from Manuel Lanzini
The Argentine has just recovered from a serious injury suffered during the World Cup.
Manuel Lanzini didn't have a great outing against London-rivals Chelsea and has faced a lot of flaks from the Hammers' supporters on the social media platform Twitter.
Chelsea beat West Ham United 2-0 in a game that witnessed Eden Hazard present a world-class display of what he might be doing at the Santiago Bernabeu next season.
With the win, Chelsea, have kept their hopes of Champions League football alive while the loss for the Manuel Pellegrini's men ensured that they are not going to Europe next season, even if they will all their remaining fixtures.
While almost every player of Hammers was not up to the mark, Lanzini was the one who received the most beatings on social media. Lanzini who has just recovered from a rupture of his anterior cruciate ligament in his knee has the burden of expectations of the Hammers.
The player who suffered the injury during the World Cup looks like hasn't recovered from it yet. The performances haven't been inspiring, and the player has been questioned for his displays far often than not since returning.

After the loss against Chelsea particularly, the Hammers have asked the player to step up or leave the club. Lanzini earns £70k-a-week, a huge sum for the Hammers to pay for someone who isn't performing.
With the transfer not working well for the two parties, Hammers looking for better performers, players with more impact in the centre of the park and the player struggling with his injury and fitness, it is the time for the two to decide what the future holds for them.
Lanzini would like more patience from the highly impatient critiques while the Hammers' supporters ask for impactful performances from the Argentinean.
Some of the tweets in which Lanzini has been criticised are shown below.
This season is Lanzini’s pre season, doesn’t give him a free pass etc but he has come back from a serious injuryYet the £40m man hasn’t done anything much better and Nasri is injured yet again - he has still missed more games in 2019 than Carroll through injury.

Not a bad first half, good shape against a better team, Hazard on another level...Lanzini hasn't been involved, Kante's pocket. Arnie quiet too ????Antonio and Nasri on, Chica and Lanzini off. Arnie up top .. pic.twitter.com/scFFOfOhRh

You tell me what Lanzini’s done since coming back, and if you say he ain’t fit then why’s he playing?

An unpopular opinion but I can’t understand why our fans adore Lanzini as much as we do? Yes on his day he’s a world beater but how many of those days does he actually have? I know he’s been out with injury but this goes back to before that happened. A v frustrating player imo...

Sorry but Lanzini does not deserve to start the next game. The last two games we have been effectively playing with 10 men with him on pitch. Obviously going to take him a while to get back to his best but he’s not ready yet.
