The England international joined the current Premier League champions in 2015 from Liverpool for a fee of £49 million. However, he struggled during his first two seasons as he scored 11 goals and 10 goals respectively in all competitions in more than 30 appearances in each of the seasons. His real game stepped up in 2017 when he scored 23 goals in his 33 appearances in all competitions. That season City went on to win the Premier League title with a record 100 points. Since then, the Jamaican-born winger has been a good option for Pep Guardiola in his star-studded attack.
In the ongoing season too, Sterling is in a good form as, in his 9 appearances overall in all competitions, he has scored 7 goals already.
