They also broke Chelsea’s long-time record of scoring 95 points in a single league season.

They finished 18 points ahead of the Cityzens and finally won the Premier League for the first time ever since its rebranding in 1993.

Manchester City are the only club to score 100 points in the Premier League. The 2017-18 campaign saw total dominance by the side, finishing 19 points ahead of Manchester United in second. This was City’s third league title and now, the club has six in their locker. For creating history and scoring 100 points, that MCFC team is popularly called ‘the Centurions’.
