The UEFA Champions League winners, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), are going to be back in action for their second club friendly contest ahead of the new season. They will face the English Premier League giants, Manchester United, at the Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The Luis Enrique-led side are coming in after suffering a 0-3 defeat at the hands of Spanish second-division club Mallorca. It was a disasterclass performance by the UCL champions. They had control of the ball for most of the game, but looked weak in the final third.

PSG are going to receive a major boost for their upcoming fixture as stars including Nuno Mendes, Marquinhos, Joao Neves and Vitinha are back in training for the club. They will now be able to come up with organised plays in the midfield, which are going to play a crucial role against a strong Man United side.

The Red Devils will be pleased after their 2-1 victory against Atletico Madrid in their last pre-season friendly. They gave the lead away early in the game, but came back from behind in the second half to win the contest.

Michael Carrick’s men will be ready for a tough test this time around. Manchester United are all set to return to the UCL during the 2026-27 season and will be better prepared to face the defending champions. With their current form, the Red Devils are going to be confident.
