Real Betis vs Barcelona LIVE - Confirmed starting lineups & pre-match updates for LaLiga 2026-27

Real Betis Balompie are all set to battle it out against FC Barcelona for their matchweek nine outing of the LaLiga 2026-27 campaign. This can turn out to be an intense clash, taking place at the Estadio La Cartuja.

Manuel Pellegrini’s men have put in some top-of-the-line performances since the beginning of the season and will be looking to continue this flow, but the upcoming contest is going to be quite challenging for them. El Glorioso must stay consistent throughout the fixture to put up a strong fight against the defending league champions.

Real Betis are going to be at home, and this will be a massive advantage. They must remember to not give the ball away to the visitors. Betis beat Real Madrid recently, but will they be able to secure a similar result against Barca?

The Hansi Flick-led side have been performing consistently across all the competitions. They made a strong comeback to secure a 4-1 win against Galatasaray in the UCL. Before that, the Blaugrana dominated the proceedings against Getafe in LaLiga. They are comfortably sitting at the top of the points table, with their title defence going strong.

FC Barcelona will be eager to extend their winning run. Despite being the visiting team, they will be fully confident and might not allow many chances to the hosts.

Players to Watch

Isco (Real Betis)

The 34-year-old will have an important role to play both in the midfield and the attacking front for Real Betis. In the recent Champions League outing against FC Porto, he created the most chances (4) and completed the most dribbles (3). Isco was also one of the goal scorers for El Glorioso and will be looking to put in a top-of-the-line performance against Barca.

Lamine Yamal (Barcelona)

Lamine Yamal is going to be one of the main men in the final third for FC Barcelona. He can score goals and is also capable of creating plays for his teammates. Even though the 19-year-old failed to score a goal against Galatasaray, he came up with two crucial assists and was the star of the show. Yamal has scored seven goals and has five assists in eight LaLiga matches this season.
