Real Madrid to sign Antonio Conte?
It is reported that the Italian manager had a meeting with club representatives in Italy.
Real Madrid are in turmoil in the current scenario. They have not won any of their last four games with a thumping defeat to Sevilla and an away loss to CSKA Moscow. The misery of this season comes after winning three straight UEFA Champions League and the departure of Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo. And as per sources in Italy, Real Madrid are not happy with the current gaffer Julen Lopetegui with having made contacts with former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.
Michele Criscitiello, the CEO of Sportitalia - The Italian 24*7 sports channel, has tweeted that there are talks continuing between the Madrid club and Italian boss. With the current form under Lopetegui, it is believable to the highest degree.

Real president is known to run out of patience quicker than any other in charge of a European club. In 2016, repeated poor results lead to the sacking of Rafa Benitez in just six months being in charge of the team. Though, Perez is reported to have given Lopetegui three-games including one El Clasico to turn around fortunes at Santiago Bernabeu.
There were interests from Real Madrid for Antonio Conte in the summer but a financial dispute with Chelsea stalled the progress of the move. Conte currently is looking for a top-flight job after splitting ways from Chelsea, despite being in a legal battle with the Blues and he expressed a desire to take over at the Bernabeu in a meeting with club officials on Monday.
Julen Lopetegui controversially joined Real Madrid during his days with the National team enroute the World Cup, in the aftermath of the announcement, he was sacked as the Spain national team manager just three days before the tournament. Spain were knocked out in the quarter-finals.

[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]Conte is even prepared to ditch his legal battles to take on arguably the biggest job in world football. Lopetegui faces a decisive couple of weeks, taking on Levante in La Liga, then Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League, before a testing Clasico at Camp Nou.
If Real’s form does not improve, Conte – who has won league titles in both Italy and England – could be installed before the November international break.
