Rebels FC launch India's first full-fledged girls residential football academy

RFC Girls Football Academy, India’s first full-fledged girls residential football training facility was launched by Rebels FC on 17th August 2020 in Bengaluru. The academy will provide top of the line scientific training for young, talented and passionate female footballers to achieve their dream of becoming a professional football player and also help them pursue a career in the sport.
The full-fledged residential football programme integrated with educational pursuits is located in a sprawling campus at New Age World School, Yelahanka, Bengaluru. The brainchild of Preetham Chandra, the academy, was conceived as a purpose-driven idea that could enable our passionate and talented female youth to pursue academics and football in equal measure with a provision for ample career opportunities during and after their tenure. Running one of the biggest residential projects for the male counterparts, Preetham Chandra and his team are experienced and have put together one of the most experienced technical and management team to build this project.
The premier football training destination is open to under 13 to under 22 youth from all socio-economic backgrounds, offering them an international level of training programmes formulated by its highly qualified technical team honoured with UEFA and AFC coaching licenses led by our Technical Director, Mr. Ajit Braich. The team with distinction of training professional players across the world will impart the same calibre of knowledge and training modules to our student-athletes, making them a fine cluster of sportswomen with a celebrated and inspirational future in football.
Besides the international training faculty, the professional football training experience at the academy is augmented by a team of mentors, nutritionists, counsellors and peers in an inclusive environment on a year-round basis. In terms of facilities, the academy has world-class infrastructure which includes a full-sized football field, training pitch, swimming pool and a gym for a sport-science driven curriculum. The boarding students have access to all perceivable amenities right from comfortable and secure lodging, nutritious menu, study areas, library all under the watch of experienced wardens.
The academy has collaborated with reputed institutions to offer a diverse syllabus ranging from CBSE, ICSE, and SSLC up to high school, and multiple streams at college level including sports management programs. Beyond academics and football training, the academy’s extensive network will ensure that the student-athletes get abundant exposure by playing plenty of domestic and international matches. Additionally, the academy has tied up with India’s foremost talent scouting firms such as Inventive Sports,Ullanaat Sports Management,Spotik India and Onsides Sports which ensures that athletes get a shot at professional football and placement opportunities across the football ecosystem.

All in all, RFC Girls Football Academy will be home to young female athletes from across India, an innovative and immersive platform where rising talent trains with the finest in football, where passion and aptitude for the sport are nurtured from initiation to realizing complete player potential and a place that offers everything that goes into the making of ideal and the finest student-athletes, who will champion the future of Indian sports as sportswomen, leaders and influencers. The ‘Student – Athlete Program’ under which the students will be trained, will ensure that the best training is imparted in tandem with quality education. This fantastic initiative will promote football for women and enable them to access a holistic platform to play and develop their skills towards the beautiful game.
