Goalkeeper Ronald Koeman Jr., son of the same-named former Netherlands player and coach, scored twice for Telstar in Sunday’s 2-2 tie with Cambuur in the Dutch Eredivisie.
There was further similar excitement this time, as Koeman Jr. netted in the 63rd minute to cut Telstar’s two-goal deficit in half before scoring again in the 11th minute of stoppage time to seal a final-minute tie.
Koeman Jr. said:
“I’m simply at the top of the list now. I can take a good penalty; I have confidence in that. I have no doubts. They’re going to talk to me, you know that beforehand. But you won’t get me worked up,” he said with a smile.
