Ronaldo Nazario & Jay Z in attendance for Brazil vs Norway FIFA World Cup round of 16 clash

The scoreline is tied at 0-0 after the first half.

Five-time champions Brazil are facing Norway in their round-of-16 clash at the FIFA World Cup. The game started with the Selecao making attacks from the flanks. However, in the 3rd minute, Patrick Berg scored for the Vikings, but the goal was eventually overruled.

Later, courtesy of a foul from Kristoffer Ajer, Brazil were awarded a penalty. Bruno Guimaraes launched the short in the right corner; however, it was saved by Norwegian goalkeeper Orjan Haskjold Nyland.

While the first half ended in a draw, both sides created chances and came close to scoring. To witness the action, Brazilian icon Ronaldo Nazario and American rapper Jay Z are in attendance.

Brazil football icon Ronaldo Nazário is currently in the New York-New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford to witness the round of 32 clash between the Seleção and Norway.

The former World Cup champion was also Brazil’s top goal scorer for a long time before Neymar Jr. broke his record.

Ronaldo, who’s often considered one of the greatest football attackers in history, earned 99 caps for the Selecao during his professional career, scoring 62 goals. He also played a key role in the Selecao’s last title triumph in 2002.

For more than two decades, Brazil has looked forward to winning its sixth World Cup title but has not succeeded. Meanwhile, alongside football icon, former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is also in attendance for the game.

American rapper Jay Z has also come to New York to see the action unfold at the knockout round of the FIFA World Cup. Famous for being hip-hop’s first billionaire, Jay Z has won 25 Grammy Awards.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Toby Maguire are also among the celebrities present in the stadium.

The winner of the ongoing round-of-16 clash will face the winner of the other clash between England and Mexico later tonight.
