India U15 coach Biniano Fernandes said they are ready for SAFF U15 championship, which is started yesterday at ANFA complex, Satdobato, Lalitpur. Bangldesh defeated Sri Lanka 4-0 in the opening fixture.
Speaking in the pre-match conference, coach Fernandes said they had prepared well for the event.
"Our preparation has been good. Boys are motivated. Last edition, we lost with Bangladesh in final on penalties. This edition, we will give our best", said Fernandes.
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]The coach also mentioned that he would miss his important player in the tournament. Rohit Dhanu, who was the captain of the team, is in U17 squad that will take part in FIFA U17 World Cup 2017.
India have been clubbed with hosts Nepal and Maldives in group B while Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are grouped in group A.
