Ratings: Five players on scoresheet as India humble Maldives in SAFF Women's Championship

Anju Tamang scored four goals, while Dangmei Grace netted a brace.
India began right from where they ended their previous match to register a dominating win against the Maldives. The Blue Tigresses scored past the opposition defence nine times to go on top of the table with a superior goal difference. The whole team played very well and appear to be on the path to their sixth consecutive SAFF Women's Championship title. The victory also means India have now advanced to the semifinals with a game in hand.
Here are India's player ratings for their match against the Maldives in SAFF Women's Championship 2022.
Aditi Chauhan - 6
With the defence and the midfield playing extremely well today, Aditi did not have to do much.
Ritu Rani - 6
It was a easy job for Ritu Rani today with the opposition showing lack of quality in their attack. Still, she played her part well and ensured a clean sheet.
Ashalata Devi - 7
The Indian defence was rock solid today. The defenders, under the leadership of Ashalata Devi, did not provide any space for Maldives to create any chances.

Manisa Panna - 7
The lack of firepower in Maldives' attack made life easy for the Indian defence. Manisha Panna played her role quite well and ensured that a clean sheet is achieved.
Ranjana Chanu - 7
Ranjana put in a good shift on the right side of the pitch and kept the Maldivians under pressure with her quality crosses and runs. She also helped India maintain a clean sheet.
Ratanbala Devi - 5
Despite having an opponent with a weak defence, Ratnabala Devi was not able to score today. However, her performance was quite good and we can hope for her to score in the upcoming matches.
Anju Tamang - 9
Anju Tamang played extremely well today and scored four goals. Apart from her goals, she played all over the pitch and constantly kept the opposition defence under pressure.

Ranganathan Sandhiya - 7
Sandhiya began from where she ended last game and continuously created problems for the opposition defence by working on the left flank.
Priyangka Devi - 8
It was another decent outing for Priyangka Devi as she scored once and created a host of chances for the winning side.
Renu - 6
Renu's performance was good in the match, however, she missed out on scoring. She will be looking forward to improving her game in the following clashes.
Dangmei Grace - 8
Grace was superb today and scored a brace. She made the lives of the Maldivian defenders very difficult with her runs and good passes.

Substitutes
Soumya Guguloth - 8
Soumya displayed a good outing after coming on as a sub and scoring a goal. She continuously kept the opposition defence in check and ensured that India finds its goals.
Kashmina - 7
Kashmina played the role of a super-sub and added to the team's goal tally.
Kiran Pisda - 6
Kiran played her role in a solid manner, but it was nothing extraordinary. She is expected to do better in the rest of the tournament.
