African heavyweights Egypt are currently squaring off against Australia at the Dallas Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The game started with both sides making deep runs with a clear intent of taking an early lead.

American actor Samuel L. Jackson has come to the Dallas Stadium to witness the round-of-32 clash between the two top-30 teams in the FIFA rankings.

Before the game commenced, he brought the ball onto the ground and also met Liverpool icon Mohamed Salah, who was initially in doubt about playing in the African side’s knockout clash. The American actor, who’s famous for his movies such as Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, The Avengers and more, is also reportedly a Liverpool supporter.

The winner of the ongoing fixture will lock horns with the champion of the other round-of-32 clash between debutants Cape Verde and defending champions Argentina on Tuesday, June 7, at the Atlanta Stadium in Georgia.
