The Scots will play Nations League group games this month.
Sebastien Pocognoli has announced a 27-player Scotland team, with 12 of the Tartan Army’s World Cup stars missing out.
Scotland will compete in the UEFA Nations League against Switzerland, Slovenia, and North Macedonia, all of whom are trying to rebound from their dismal performance in the US.
Pocognoli, who succeeded Steve Clarke in the Scotland dugout, has had an immediate impact, despite the fact that a number of familiar figures are injured or have retired.
Sevilla attacker Robbie Ure and Brondby’s Luis Binks are two of five players named to their first complete Scotland team by new head coach Sebastien Pocognoli.
The forthcoming Nations League games also include Celtic defender Colby Donovan, Hearts winger Josh McPake, and Swansea City’s Stephen Welsh.
There is additionally a long-awaited return for Hull City attacker Oli McBurnie, who last represented his country in 2021. Goalkeepers Scott Bain and Jon McCracken have returned after Craig Gordon announced his retirement following the World Cup.
Napoli’s Billy Gilmour joins after missing the final squad under former manager Steve Clarke due to a knee injury.
