I dream of raising the Champions League trophy with Inter- Milan Skriniar
The 24-year-old defender joined Nerazzurri in 2017 from Sampdoria for €20 million.
Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar looks determined to knock record champions Juventus from their pole position of winning the Seria A in the upcoming season.
The Slovakian defender has been one of the highly-rated defenders in Europe and has had suitors from all over Europe. However, the 24-year has stayed at the San Siro and is determined to get a good result with the Nerazzurri this season.
Skriniar has been one of the stalwarts for Inter in the last couple of season after joining from Sampdoria in 2017. He began training with the Black and Blues in the preseason as the team looks to tread a new path led by new manager Antonio Conte.
The 24-year-old defender spoke about Inter's chances in the upcoming season and how they can compete with Maurizio Sarri's Juventus.

“They’ve finished first for eight years in a row so the moment has come for Inter to get closer and beat them,” Skriniar told Corriere dello Sport.
“We have a new coach with new backroom staff and we’re all excited. We can’t wait to make a fast start to the season. We’re a strong team and we have to work with the objective of winning. If you play for Inter you can’t have the aim of finishing second when you turn up for preseason."

Antonio Conte who has been with the Old Lady in the past and the former Chelsea tactician has even won the crown thrice in a row from 2011 to 2014. He is now with Inter and Skriniar believes that his winning formula may give the team an additional boost to go all out.
"Conte? He has the right mindset. We are a strong team and we must work with the goal of winning. The coach explains us every detail, we have changed our way of doing things with respect to the past.
"He is making us work hard and he likes explaining everything to us: how he wants us to play, the system to use and the movements. Compared to the past we’ve changed how we’re doing things, " he added.
With Conte's arrival it will be a new-look Inter side and the players will have to adapt to his demands. He tends to play with a three-man backline and there it will be crucial for Skriniar to get his understanding sorted with Diego Godin who has just joined from Atletico Madrid. The Slovakia international spoke highly about his new partner and hopes to form a formidable partnership with the Uruguayan at the back.
