The Old Lady is looking to extend the stay of Szczesny while constantly tracking the development of ter Stegen and Donnarumma.
The Serie A champions Juventus are actively working on securing their future in goal. The club from Turin currently employ the services of goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and living legend of the game, especially for Juventus, Gianluigi Buffon. However, the management has been working on bettering the personnel. [KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS] It is believed that Juventus are working on a new deal for Szczesny which is all but confirmed. And at the same time, they have FC Barcelona’s Marc Andre ter Stegen and A.C. Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma in their sights. There are no two doubts about having the Polish goalkeeper Wojcech Szczesny guarding their net and the Old Lady want to extend his contract until the summer of 2024. They are also planning to increase his salary to up to €7m net with additional bonuses. This will send a strong message to any club that is interested in stealing Szczesny away from Juventus. However, according to Claciomercato, the club is also analysing and understanding suitable replacement prospects given the unpredictable and erratic nature of the transfer market. Marc Andre ter Stegen, who has had a phenomenal year with Barcelona and is one of the best keepers in the game right now along with Gianluigi Donnarumma whose undeniable potential leaves little room for doubt given the maturity and confidence he has displayed at his relatively young age are the top two candidates. However, for now, the present and future of Juventus’ man in goal revolve around Wojciech Szczesny. They are currently second in the league and are level on points with rivals Inter Milan. [KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News | ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS] As per 90min, ter Stegen is on his way to sign a contract extension despite having two years left in his current contract. It is believed FC Barcelona is keen on signing a new deal until 2025 - the longest contract of anyone at the club currently.Latest News
