Maurizio Sarri: There's still 81 points to earn in the league

The Italian is wary of the threat that the other opponents in the league possess.
Maurizio Sarri has dismissed claims that the Serie A league title is a two-horse race between his Juventus side and Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan. Both these new managers have taken the league by storm and currently occupy the top two spots in the points table.
Whilst, the Old Lady are unbeaten in the league so far, Inter have lost once in their 11 matches. They are merely separated by a point but third-placed AS Roma are just six points behind the Nerazzurri. Matthijs de Ligt scored the only goal of the game against Torino to ensure Juventus bounced back to the top of the table.

He said, “There's still 81 points to earn. Tomorrow's standings could already give you a different idea. Because the standings we're seeing tonight do not include the games of some big teams that still have to play. Perhaps tomorrow [Sunday] Atalanta will be closer."
“I think now it's too early to talk about it," said Sarri, as per a report from Goal.com. "I understand that for a journalist it's more interesting to create media interest on the head-to-head between two teams. But frankly it's premature to think that all the other teams are cut out of the run."
Juventus’s victory over Torino was ninth one of the season, as they have now bagged 29 points from 11 matches. Regarding the game, he stated, “I am happy with the performance of my team because we've found ourselves in a very tough derby, with high levels of intensity and aggression."
“A game that maybe wasn't good for us considering our characteristics, but we played it well and we sorted it out. And when a coach sees a solid performance in terms of character from his team he is always happy.”
Juventus would now face Lokomotiv Moscow in the coming midweek fixture of the UEFA Champions League. Until now, they have won two of their first three encounters in the European tournament and hence are placed atop the Group A table.

Inter Milan, on the other hand, would play Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. They have won, lost and drawn once in three matches so far in the European competition.
A rather cold response from Maurizio Sarri, meant he has ridden his team of any sort of complacency considering the minor gap that exists between them and Inter in terms of points earned this season.
