Shakira, Antoine Griezmann in attendance for France vs Morocco FIFA World Cup 2026 quarterfinal

This contest is taking place at the Boston Stadium.
The 2026 edition of the FIFA World Cup is now in the quarterfinal phase. The first fixture of the final 8 is being played between the France national football team and the Morocco national football team. The losing team will bow out of the grandest stage of them all.
Alongside Spain and England, Les Bleus are the favourites to lift the prestigious title this year. With their stacked lineup, they surely have an edge over the Atlas Lions. The two-time world champions will be looking for a win and a spot in the semifinals.
As usual, the Frenchmen started things off in an attacking manner. Both sides failed to score a goal in the first half. France came up with 13 attempts on goal and only four of them were on target. Morocco only came up with a single shot on goal and that too was off target.
Kylian Mbappe made the headlines after he failed to convert for Les Bleus in the 28th minute. He later helped France take a 1-0 lead with a sensational strike in the 60th minute.
