Soufiane Rahimi plays for the UAE Pro League club Al Ain and the Morocco national football team. He has a crucial role to play in the attacking front for both his club and country. Rahimi is now part of the Moroccan squad competing for the crown at the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The centre-forward made his senior debut for the Atlas Lions in 2021. He was not a part of the 2022 edition of the mega competition, but he worked on his playing style and has now found his way into the first team for the ongoing flagship tournament.

During his youth footballing days, he started playing for Raja Casablanca in Morocco and then later moved on to RCA Reserve for his senior club debut. His performances on the field helped him come to notice.

In 2021, Soufiane Rahimi went on to join the UAE Pro League Club, Al Ain and is currently a crucial asset to them. His performances have been helping both his club and country. The Atlas Lions had a strong battle against the Haitians. The scores were level after the first half came to an end. In the 69th minute, Soufiane Rahimi stepped on the field from the bench and, just nine minutes later, engraved his name on the scoresheet to give Morocco a lead. This was also Rahimi’s first-ever goal at the FIFA World Cup.

Goal 2: Morocco 3-0 Canada

This time around, Soufiane Rahimi had to step on the field quite early. He replaced the injured Ismael Saibari in the 21st minute. The 30-year-old helped his side on the attacking front on multiple occasions. He kept the Canadian defence on edge. The Morocco national football team were on an easy 2-0 lead and like a cherry on top, Rahimi stepped up to score the third goal for them.
