The South Africa national soccer team are all set to face off against the Guinea national football team for their group stage contest in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. These sides will square off at the Orlando Amstel Arena.
The Bafana Bafana have seen a managerial change after their FIFA World Cup 2026 run. They only managed one win during their campaign and failed to get past the group stage. The South Africa national football team is now gearing up to secure a spot in AFCON 2027.
With the new head coach, Pitso Mosimane, they must work on their approach in the final third. They can defend well, but also need to fire the ball into the back of the net. A football game cannot be won without scoring goals and South Africa will be looking to step up their game this time around.
The Guinea national football team have not been at their best. They will be back in action for the first time since June 2026. The Syli National haven’t managed a win in their last four matches and can be under pressure for their clash against Bafana Bafana.
The Paulo Duarte-led side must focus on controlling the game from the start or else they are going to have a tough time out there. Being away from home is going to be another big challenge for them and it will be interesting to see their performance.

Relebohile Mofokeng (South Africa)
The 21-year-old will have a crucial role to play in the final third for the South Africa national soccer team. He can be deployed on the wing and can threaten the opponent’s defence with his fast pace in transition. Relebohile Mofokeng is also capable of competing in the midfield and this adds additional confidence for the player.
Serhou Guirassy (Guinea)
The Borussia Dortmund star will now be gearing up to help the Guinea national football team in the AFCON 2027 qualifiers. He has been on a good run of form for his club and will now be looking to deliver top performances for his nation. Serhou Guirassy will be deployed as a striker, making him a constant threat to the opponent’s defence.
