At home, Sunderland AFC must make full use of this advantage. They came up with a win against Hull City in the Carabao Cup and will be eager to keep their momentum flowing. Their upcoming EPL contest is going to be a tough one against the Gunners.
The Mikel Arteta-led side is on a flying run of form at the moment. They first secured the FA Community Shield after taking down Manchester City and then secured consecutive wins in their first three Premier League 2026-27 matches. The Gunners have also bagged a victory in their opening Champions League fixture against Napoli.
Arsenal have initiated their English top division title defence on a positive note. They have put in consistent performances and if they continue with it, then no side will be able to stop them. Despite being away from home, Arteta’s men will be fully confident.

Martin Ødegaard (Arsenal)
Martin Ødegaard is enjoying a great start to the season with Arsenal. The Norwegian midfielder has scored four goals in five games for his side. He is coming in after scoring the match-winning goal for the Gunners in their UCL outing against Napoli. The 27-year-old knows how to control the ball well and is also quite helpful in the final third.
