Tate McRae, Javier Bardem in attendance for Spain vs Belgium FIFA World Cup 2026 quarter-final

The high-stakes game is taking place at SoFi Stadium.

For the second quarterfinal of the FIFA World Cup 2026, the Spain national football team is locking horns with the Belgium national football team. These European heavyweights are going to come up with an entertaining outing.

Alongside France and England, La Roja are one of the favourites to win the prestigious title this year. They are yet to concede a goal in their ongoing campaign in the flagship competition. With quality players and strong squad depth, the Spaniards are going to have an edge over their opponents.

On the other hand, the Belgian Red Devils are having a tough contest on their hands. They are missing two very crucial pieces in the midfield from their squad. Amadou Onana sustained an ACL injury against the USA. Youri Tielemans was excluded from the starting XI after an injury during the warm-up ahead of the Spain vs Belgium encounter.

Rudi Garcia’s men will have to do a lot of hard work. The Luis de la Fuente-led side have been controlling the game from the start and are not going to make things easier for their opponents here.

Later, the Spanish actor, Javier Bardem, was spotted in the stands and was donning the Spain national football team kit.

Mattias Grafström, the Secretary General of FIFA, is also in the Los Angeles Stadium. He was sitting in the VIP area during the game.

English singer and songwriter Noel Gallagher alongside the Spanish actress Penelope Cruz are also enjoying the game from the stands.
