Delhi Dynamos rescued a late 3-3 draw against Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League yesterday and manager Gianluca Zambrotta was a relieved man when he met the press later. Substitute striker Richard Gadze pulled one back shortly after the restart while Marcelinho completed the comeback with a late penalty. Asked whether his side was lucky to come away with a point Zambrotta said it's all part of football. "I don’t want to speak about the referee because they are human like players. So, sometimes they do make mistakes. But, I don’t want to speak about the referee. I can only speak for the work that we do. Sometimes in football it can happen that you get some advantageous decisions and sometimes no right decision for you. " The hosts started poorly and went into the break 0-2 down. Asked to comment on his side's defending in the first 45 the Italian said,"Of course we have to get better. Unfortunately, today we have done a lot of mistakes and for that we have to learn from our mistakes. At the moment the team is playing well but in the future of course we hope to play better because some of the defensive situations we did not play well," he explained. The former defender once again made wholesale changes in the starting XI especially at the back and when quizzed on the reasons for the same he said he was keen to keep the squad fresh ahead of a long season. Winger Florent Malouda also started on the night and the manager said he has been pleased with the performances of his marquee player. Although he refused to dwelve into the specifics of any tactical changes he made at halftime Zambrotta said he had started with a 4-3-3 formation looking to exploit the wings but had to revert to a 4-2-4 to get back into the game after his side conceded two early goals. Asked if he was disappointed after picking up just two points from the last two home games the tactician assured that it was a long season and that there was plenty of time to pick up more points in the upcoming matches. Accompanying the former World Cup-winner was striker Richard Gadze who played a key role in the Dynamos' second half revival. The introduction of strike partner Badji proved pivotal as the pair were a constant nuisance for the fatigued Mumbai back four and Gadze agreed that the duo worked well in tandem. "I think the coach made a really good decision by bringing in Badara. You know he’s tall. I just told him you go in for the first ball. I will just go behind you and I think it really worked for us."
