With the European transfer window closing in just over two day’s here’s a look at some of the big business that could still be done…..

Money seems to be no object for clubs in Europe as the 2016/17 summer transfer season shows no sign of slowing down, and with the window slamming shut at 4:00 am IST, here are some players who most definitely might be switching jerseys or cities and even countries come September 1st. Joe Hart Status: Loan/ Permanent move Interested clubs: Torino, Sunderland, Liverpool The 29-year old goalie wouldn’t have wished this fate on even his worst enemy. After a horrendous Euro 2016, Hart’s preseason did not go ideally with incoming superboss Pep Guardiola immediately terming him surplus to requirements. Both Merseyside clubs initially maintained interest but were put off by the towering wage demands. An unlikely suitor in Torino FC seems to have fought off competition for Hart and with City covering the chunk of his salary for the season, expect the Englishman to be in Turin imminently. James Rodriguez Status: Its Complicated Interested clubs: Chelsea, Juventus, Arsenal The wonderkid from Colombia was a 63 million signing from Monaco who seems to have lost the trust of Zinedine Zidane in the past year. Injuries and erratic form meant Isco and Jese were used regularly over Rodriguez. The start of the new La-Liga campaign didn’t see any change with the 24-year-old still on the bench while the likes of Marco Asenjo and Lucas Vazquez made their mark. In spite of Zizou reiterating the value that James brings to his squad, rumours of a move away refuse to die down with Premier League clubs keeping a close eye on the events unfolding at the Santiago Bernabeu. Marcos Alonso Status: Permanent move Interested club: Chelsea This was expected to be a busy summer in the blue half of West London. But, surprisingly Chelsea have only signed two players in N’Golo Kante from Leicester City and Michy Batshuayi from Marseille. Left-Back has been a problem area at Stamford Bridge for some time now. But, with new boss Antonio Contew reportedly keen to move to a 3-5-2 formation Fiorentina’s Alonso who spent a brief spell on loan at Sunderland in 2014 is seen as the ideal fit. Blaise Matuidi Status: Permanent Move Interested clubs: Chelsea, Juventus Unai Emery’s appointment as Head Coach of PSG was the start of a new era for the club but could be the end of Matuidi’s glorious stay in Paris. With Emery bringing in his trusted deputy from Sevilla in the form of Gregory Tchrowiak, Matuidi knew the signs and with an impressive Euro 2016 performance behind him, Juventus are still eager on checking whether the 29-year-old could come in to fill the boots of his departed compatriot Paul Pogba. Priced at 25 million pounds, he would be an asset to any club on the pitch and in the dressing room. Wilfried Bony Status: Loan leading to permanent move Interested clubs: Everton, West Ham, Stoke The cull of players at Manchester City has seen Wilfried Bony being linked with a host of clubs. With the Ivory Coast hitman looking for first-team football, West Ham have been heavily linked with a swoop following their record signing Andre Ayew and Andy Carroll both being sidelined with injury. Stoke have always been admirers of Bony with interest going back to his move from Swansea to City.
