Brazil has produced a continuous supply of technically brilliant players for the English top-flight clubs. Since its creation in 1992, the Premier League has been a breeding ground for exceptional talent, with Brazilian players frequently leading the way.

However, not many have been able to make their mark in one of the toughest leagues, but some have managed to lift as many league titles as possible and score plenty of goals. With this, we take a look at the all-time Brazilian goalscorer in the league.

Gabriel Magalhães recorded 20 goals in the league. The Arsenal defender attained this milestone after making 194 appearances in the league. Since joining Arsenal in 2020, he has scored several goals from set pieces, earning him one of the league’s top-scoring centre-backs.

14. Oscar: 21 goals

Oscar netted 21 goals in the league during his time at Chelsea. Oscar, a former Chelsea FC midfielder, appeared in 131 league games throughout his tenure in England, earning two Premier League titles and the Europa League.

13. Douglas Luiz: 21 goals

Douglas Luiz has scored 21 goals in England, all during his time at Aston Villa. He made 196 Premier League appearances during his career.

12. Igor Thiago: 22 goals

Igor Thiago has scored 22 Premier League goals for Brentford FC. Thiago had a remarkable campaign for the Bees, scoring 22 goals and becoming the most goals achieved by a Brazilian player in a single EPL campaign last term.

11. Joelinton: 24 goals

Joelinton has recorded 24 league goals in his professional career to date. Joelinton converted his first Premier League goal on August 25, 2019, in a 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur. Before joining Newcastle United in 2019, he transitioned from attacker to midfielder under ex-manager Eddie Howe’s guidance.

10. Juninho: 29 goals

While playing for Middlesbrough, Juninho Paulista scored 29 goals in the Premier League. During his three different stints with the team, he amassed this total. Many people consider Juninho to be one of the best free-kick takers in football history and a wonderful, incredibly creative playmaker.

9. Bruno Guimarães: 30 goals

Bruno Guimarães has amassed 30 league goals throughout his career. He scored 30 goals in 152 league games for Newcastle United. Following his summer move, he made his Arsenal debut and has yet to score a goal for them.

8. João Pedro: 39 goals

So far in his Premier League career, João Pedro has scored 39 goals. He scored goals while playing for Watford, Brighton & Hove Albion and Chelsea. He is renowned for performing well as a winger and central striker. After joining Chelsea from Brighton, he won Player of the Season for his first season in 2025–2026.

7. Matheus Cunha: 39 goals

Over his career, Matheus Cunha has scored 39 goals in the league. He made 117 appearances for Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers to reach this total. Before joining Manchester United, he scored 15 goals in the Premier League while playing for Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2024–2025.

6. Gabriel Martinelli: 41 goals

Gabriel Martinelli moved from Ituano to the Gunners in 2019 and stayed there for seven years. But before joining Saudi Pro League Al Hilal, he only scored 41 goals during those years at Arsenal.

5. Philippe Coutinho: 47 goals

Throughout his career, Philippe Coutinho has scored 47 goals in the Premier League. Fans affectionately dubbed Coutinho “The Little Magician” because he was a world-class, explosive playmaker for Liverpool. In January 2018, he was sold to Barcelona for up to £142 million after being bought by Inter Milan for an incredible £8.5 million in 2013.

4. Willian: 47 goals

While competing for three different English clubs, the Brazilian winger made 327 appearances to reach this goal tally. Willian was a very talented and successful professional player who gained notoriety during his time as a dedicated, technical winger for Chelsea.

In the Premier League, Richarlison has accumulated 75 goals. While playing for Watford, Everton, and Tottenham Hotspur, he scored these goals. Only Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino have scored more goals than any other Brazilian player in the English top-flight’s history. Richarlison has recorded 27 goals in 103 games throughout his five seasons with Tottenham.

Gabriel Jesus has accumulated 79 Premier League goals throughout his career. Jesus was a very successful and accomplished player, although he was often regarded as a top-tier supporting forward rather than an all-time great of the game.

During his time with Liverpool F.C., Roberto Firmino scored 82 goals in the Premier League and was regarded as one of the league’s most distinctive and productive forwards. Even though his 71 EPL goals don’t compare to more established goal scorers like Harry Kane or Sergio Agüero, his worth went well beyond stats.
