Top five countries with most UEFA Europa League titles

These nations have triumphed Europe's second most elite competition the most number of times.
Despite UEFA Champions League being the superior competition in terms of "big" teams present, the UEFA Europa League has its own quality. A great number of teams have won it over the years garnering many titles. There are a total of 29 winners from 1971-2022. Eintracht Frankfurt are the latest winners of the Europa League having defeated Rangers FC in the final.
Let's take a look at the top 5 countries with the most UEFA Europa League titles.
5) Netherlands - 4 Titles
Netherlands is reputed because of famous and legendary footballers such as Cruyff ,Bergkamp ,Gullit and many others. The national team has a record of playing in most World Cup finals without winning the tournament. However the teams from the country have won the UEFA Europa League cup 4 times. Feyenoord have won the title twice whereas PSV Eindhoven and Ajax have won it one time each.
4) Germany - 7 Titles
Germany has accomplished wonders in almost every tournament. The national team has won the FIFA World Cup four times. Reputed teams such as Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Frankfurt are well known for having the best fans in football. Moreover Bayern Munich are regular Champions League contenders, recently winning the trophy two seasons ago as well.
They have done great in the UEFA Europa League as well. Germany has garnered seven titles with Borussia Monchengladbach and Frankfurt winning two each. Bayern Munich ,Schalke FC and Bayer Leverkusen have also won one title each. In fact, Eintracht Frankfurt are the reigning Europa League champions
3) Italy- 9 Titles
Italy is one of the strongest powerhouse of football. Juventus, AC Milan,Inter Milan are the legendary teams in the Serie A. AC Milan are already amongst the historical teams in the UEFA Champions League winning it seven times.
The Italian sides have done well in the Europa League as well, winning it nibe times altogether. Inter Milan and Juventus have won it three times each whereas Parma has won it twice. Surprisingly Napoli has won the title once as well, back in 1988. Maradona led the victory against VFB Stuttgart to clinch the title.
2)England - 9 Titles
England are one of the powerhouses of European football. It is no surprise English sides have won the UEFA Europa League nibe times altogether. Liverpool have won it thrice with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur winning it twice. Manchester United and Ipswich Town have won it once. Jose Mourinho led United to the European victory which was the last win for an English side in the Europa Leaguemajor trophy.
1) Spain - 13 Titles
It's not a surprise to see Spain at the top of this list. The Spanish sides have established dominance in the UCL as well as the UEFA Europa League. It is a record up to today that no English side has beat a Spanish side in an European final. Perhaps this record will be put up to the test in the Champions League final. Just like Real Madrid,the kings of the Champions League , Sevilla FC are the kings of the Europa League.
Sevilla FC have won the Europa League for a record 6 times. The Sevillistas Rojiblancos won the trophy three times in a row which is a historical moment. They last won it beating Klopp's Liverpool 3-1 in the final.
