Some of the top personalities in sports share their allegiance with the Wild Cat.

Globally known for their unconventional designs and well, the players who flaunt them, Puma has been one of the major players in the industry of sports apparels. Going neck to neck against Adidas and Nike, the Germany based organisation boasts of having sports personalities like Lewis Hamilton, Usain Bolt, Virat Kohli, Sunil Chhetri, Pep Guardiola, Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte with them.

Neither of Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo are with Puma but a few notable players were with them, the greatest of the great though. Pele, Diego Maradona, Lothar Matthäus, Thierry Henry, Didier Deschamps, George Best, Johan Cruyff and Eusébio played wearing the boots from Puma at some point of their career.

Without further adieu, let's take a look at the footballers who are making Puma proud.

Raphael Varane

The French defender won everything there was to win with Real Madrid. Before joining Manchester United in the summer of 2021. Varane also played a major role in France lifting the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The defender has 4 Champions League triumphs to his name. But he struggled with injuries during his first season in England. The Manchester United faithful will be hoping that the French centre-half finds his feet quickly in the Premier League.

Marco Reus

The German international has been the face of Puma in Europe. Although injuries have really hampered the potential Marco Reus showed in the early days. For the Black and Yellow, Reus has played around 300 games and has amassed 133 goals along with 91 assists.

Reus has been wearing Puma Future 5.1 Netfit soccer cleats in 2021 now. The boots are made up of a single piece knit upper with NETFIT technology. Allowing the player to operate throughout the game with an optimal fit and enhanced agility. It has a GripControl Pro layer applied to key contact areas to enhance the first touch and control even when playing at high speeds, something to suit Reus' style of play.

Luis Suarez

The third highest goal scorer in FC Barcelona's history and the man who is leading the charts for Atletico Madrid is none other than Luis Suarez. Ever since the arrival in LaLiga, the Uruguayan has amassed over 161 goals and 80 assists. He also scored the most goals in the 2015-16 season in the Spanish first division with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi finishing in the second and third place respectively.

The German boot manufacturers have made Suarez their prime man to market Puma Future 2.1 which are created with the second generation of synthetic knit named Netfit. It provides an extreme grip when in contact with the ball, thanks to the cover of the net.

Antoine Griezmann

The French striker has failed to live up to his own standards since his move to FC Barcelona but there's no denying the fact that he indeed is a scorer of great goals. The FIFA World Cup 2018 winner has been with PUMA for more than a decade now. As the boot manufacturer has always seen Griezmann as their flag bearer.

Griezmann wears Ultra SL which are made up of synthetic microfiber that blends perfectly with the collar, built entirely in Evoknit. This material fits perfectly to the ankle and manages to give supreme comfort. A light and reactive sole made of pebax, accurately meet the demands of the striker.

Neymar Jr.

Spearheading the brand of Puma against Nike's Cristiano Ronaldo and Adidas' Lionel Messi is Neymar Jr. The Brazilian was previously with Nike ever since he broke onto the scene with Santos but later switched to Puma for a reported €25m deal.

At the moment, he wears Puma Future Z 1.1 which is developed and engineered to enhance the playing style of the dynamic playmaker. It is built around an adaptive FUZIONFIT+ compression band. The FUTURE Z provides optimal lock-in and support for the explosive movement which helps in his trademark dribbling.
