Here are the five possible transfers that could happen in the Serie A during the January transfer window.
5. Mohamed Simakan to AC Milan
AC Milan have made a resurgence this season around and have led the league table for the most part this term. As Zlatan Ibrahimovic delivers consistent performances, Milan have identified key areas in the defensive department that need attention.
Strasbourg defender Mohamed Simakan has been identified as the perfect choice to bolster Milan's defence. The club has been chasing the defender for a year and have tabled an offer of €15m for the 20-year-old.
4. Andrea Pinamonti to Bologna
Inter’s Andrea Pinamonti has struggled to find game time under Antonio Conte. With only three substitute appearances in all competitions, it is believed that the striker is looking for options to find regular minutes now.
Bologna has come out as frontrunners to land the youngster. The club aims to solidify their attacking options to achieve their ambitions. It has been reported that Pinamonti will be recruited on loan with an option to buy.

3. Christian Kouame to FC Torino
Christian Kouame has attracted interest across Europe. Teams like Crystal Palace and FC Torino want the striker in January. At the moment, the player is on loan at Fiorentina, who took him on loan with an option to buy in January from Genoa.
The 23-year-old is most likely to move to Torino if La Viola do not decide on his future right away. An offer of €15m has already been tabled by the club to land the striker.
2. Stephan El Shaarawy to AS Roma
AS Roma have identified El Shaarawy as their top transfer target during the January window. Apparently, the club tried to bring the Italian winger back to Rome during the summer on a loan with an option to buy, but the lack of time and complicated logistics made the deal fall through. He had signed for Shanghai Shenhua in 2019 for a lucrative deal, at the age of 26, raising a lot of eyebrows.
The club is back in the market for the attacker, however, Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua are now trying to sell the player outrightly instead of seeing him go away on a loan. Having said that, El Shaarawy has been training on his own in Italy for some time now and a permanent move to Roma is imminent.
1. Bryan Reynolds to Juventus FC
Another USMNT player, who is catching the eye of many suitors in Europe is Bryan Reynolds. The defender plays for FC Dallas in the MLS and is reportedly could be part of the Serie A transfers pool.
The 19-year-old full-back is close to being recruited by Juventus in a deal worth €8.5m. The defender has a lot of potential and could join his countryman Weston Mckennie in representing the Old Lady.
