Tottenham Hotspur put €116m price tag on Bayern Munich' target Harry Kane
Spurs have rejected two bids for the striker
Tottenham Hotspur have finally revealed Harry Kane's transfer price. According to L'Equipe, the English striker will cost around €116 million.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy had no intentions to sell his striker in the summer of 2023. However, with Bayern Munich closing on a move for Kane, the price tag of the striker has been revealed.
The 29-year-old has a contract at the North London club till 2024. This means that if Tottenham Hotspur doesn't sell their player this summer, then he will leave on a free transfer in the next window.
Bayern Munich is the most likely destination for the English captain. The Bundesliga giants are desperate to add Kane to their lineup and strengthen their chances for a Champions League title.
They are leading the race as Daniel Levy won't sell the striker to other English clubs.
Various reports suggest that Harry Kane is interested in joining the Bundesliga giants. Bayern are in continuous talks with his family and the player.
They have reportedly made two bids to sign the striker from the North London club. The first bid was reported for around £60 million and the second for around £70 million.
Bayern Munich's president Uli Hoeness said, “Harry Kane has clearly signalled in all conversations that his decision stands – and if it stays, then we’ll get him, because then Tottenham will have to buckle,”
Spurs are trying their part to keep the striker at the club. It is being reported that the Premier League club is planning a massive pay hike to £400,000 a week in order to persuade Kane to sign a new contract.
Currently, the striker is in Australia to play the pre-season with his club. Tottenham Hotspur have a new manager for the upcoming season.
