FIFA and the Local Organising Committee of the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 on Wednesday announced that Phase I tickets for Kolkata, Guwahati and Kochi have been reopened for sale.

Illustrating the huge interest in the beautiful game in these regions, tickets for these three cities had been sold out well before knowing the teams that will play at the venue.

Ticket sales for Phase I are scheduled to end on 7th July 2017, after the Official Draw for the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017. Keeping that in mind, the Organising Committee has decided to ensure fans who have not yet got a chance to buy the Venue Package in the three cities, can access the discounted tickets for another three days.

Speaking about the decision, FIFA Deputy Secretary General Zvonimir Boban said “We’ve been really impressed with the interest in the tournament, especially in Kolkata, Guwahati and Kochi, and we’d like to give the fans there one more opportunity before the draw to book their place for this historic event in India. This is a beautiful demonstration of the love that Indian people have for football.”
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]Tickets for Phase II will go on sale once the fixtures have been decided on 7th after the Official Draw for the tournament. The phase will exclusively be available for VISA cardholders between 7th and 21st July.
The FIFA U-17 World Cup will take place in India between 6th and 28th October.
