I’m striving for a great performance against Liverpool- Lorenzo Insigne
The Reds won their last encounter in the Champions League group stage last season by a goal to nil.
The Champions League is back and one of the highlighting fixtures of the first gameweek is Napoli vs Liverpool. The two sides have been drawn in the same group for the second season running and considering the form of both the teams, the game is going to be a cherry to watch.
Talking ahead of the game on Tuesday, Naples star player Lorenzo Insigne insisted that they are all in to reach the final and win the title after the arrival of quality players in the summer.
“I hope to reach the Champions League Final and win it. I’m striving for a great performance against Liverpool,” Insigne told Il Mattino.
“Beyond my goal, the important thing is to win."
