Jurgen Klopp urges Liverpool to prove their true class against Napoli
The English side came second in the competition last season.
Liverpool are in dire streets right now, with qualification to knockout phase of this season's UEFA Champions League still hanging by the thread. Jurgen Klopp has insisted the Premier League side to put in a good performance in a do-or-die clash against Napoli, rather than crashing out in unceremonious fashion.
The German gaffer has also stated that if Napoli and PSG make it out of the group at Liverpool's expense, he wishes them the best in the UCL. The 2017-18 finalists need to beat Carlo Ancelotti's side on 12th December 2018.
“We were not good at Napoli so first of all we would like to show we are better than that. So we also have to call again on Anfield, and they should help us because that’s a massive game, a really massive game. Last year we did nearly everything to get qualified for that tournament again, because we had the final in the background but we also knew we had to do the job in the league," the former Bundesliga man stated.

In the home games so far we weren’t quite so impressive. They know as well it will be tough, but they are strong and we need to be very strong. We have to be on our toes on Tuesday night. It’s a big one, our people know that and I know they are already warming up.”
Liverpool are currently third in their group, behind Napoli and PSG. The Serie side have nine points, the Ligue 1 outfit have eight, and Klopp's men have six points. Klopp further added, "I believe people get what they deserve. So if we are good enough we will get the result we need and go through. And if not we’ll congratulate Napoli and Paris, that’s how it is.”
