PSG take on Juventus on the opening night of the 2022-23 Champions League season, PSG sacked Mauricio Pochettino at the start of the season and are under the new leadership of Christophe Galtier. The club have done smart business and have bought in Hugo Ekitike, Fabián Ruiz, Renato Sanches, Nordi Mukiele and Vitinha. While Juventus have also made a couple of smart signings. Paul Pogba and Ángel Di María have joined the club on free transfers. The club have also signed Bremer, Filip Kostic and Leandro Paredes.

Injury and Team News

PSG have everyone fit bar young right back Timothee Pembele. Sergio Ramos, Neymar, Nuno Mendes and Renato Sanches all came off the bench in the win over Nantes last time around and will be looking to walk back into the starting lineup for the Champions League opening game. Keylor Navas is also likely to start ahead of Gianluigi Donnarumma.

While Juventus on the other hand, have a lot of injury issues. The club could be without the likes of Paul Pogba, Adrien Rabiot, Wojciech Szczesny, Marley Ake, Kaio Jorge and Federico Chiesa ahead of the clash. Mattia Perin will likely keep his place in goal, with Leonardo Bonucci returning to the heart of the defence.
