UEFA Champions League 2026-27: Points table, top scorers, assists & more after matchday 1; Man United in fourth

Matchday 1 ends, giving the first glimpse of the league phase table in full action.
Games of Matchday 1 of the new UEFA Champions League season saw 36 teams battle for points. Final night’s games from matchday 1 involved Manchester United, who defeated Sabah 4-0. The final day also saw debutants Como score four goals against RB Leipzig (4-1 full-time score).
Bayern Munich scored the most goals (5) on matchday 1’s final night. Overall, defending champions PSG scored the most goals (6) in matchday 1. Barcelona, too, like Bayern, managed to put five goals in the back of the net in just their first UCL 2026-27 match.
