The manager is extremely happy with the Three Lions' squad he has at his dispense ahead of the Euros.
In a scintillating win at the UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifiers, England put seven goals past a helpless Montenegro side. England manager Gareth Southgate was naturally in seventh heaven as he spoke high of his players post the game.
"We've got a fairly settled squad," he began, "but we feel the team (against Montenegro) was extremely young, the squad is young."
Interestingly, England had their youngest ever starting lineup in the game since 1959. The 49 year-old too admitted his side was a bit too young to rely on in crucial games. Yet, he expressed his faith in the youngsters.

As per reports from Sky Sports, Gareth Southgate has also stated that England will be 'hugely competitive' in the Euro. "Our challenge is to be able to compete, as we found a way to compete in Russia, with a squad that's very exciting."
Evidently, Southgate is happy with the squad he has at his dispense. With that squad, he believes the team can expect more in the championship next year.
"The good thing is we've got really good options in every position."
About the chances of Dele Alli and City youngster Phil Foden of being picked up, Southgate quotes, "It's a case of when, rather than if. Such call-ups rely on form and fitness."
Liverpool's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain stands as the best example to his statement. The 26 year-old missed out on the FIFA World Cup last year having suffered with a long-term injury. However, ever since his recovery, Ox has been in a superb-form of late and received a deserving call-up for the Three Lions.
Moreover, he also registered the opening goal for his country in what was his first cap since March 2018.
Furthermore, the Wembley Stadium is up for a treat in the Euro 2020. Some crucial games are being scheduled to play there, including England's three group stage games, one last 16 game, semis and the final.
"It's going to be an incredible experience for the players and for our fans," Southgate went on to add.
"We want to make Wembley somewhere that teams fear coming, that's part of the message I gave to the players. So, yes, it'll be a very, very special event to be a part of."

"I used to look at Germany in qualification and they were racking up sixes and sevens and we used to be struggling to break down teams who played with a low block."
"We've now managed to play in a way that's been able to solve that problem."
Under Gareth Southgate, England have lost just once in the Qualifying stages so far and the next travel to face Kosovo on 17th November.
