WATCH: Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos arguing in PSG training

The former El Clasico arch rivals are now teammates at Paris.
The world seemed to be turning on its head as El Clasico arch rivals Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos both joined French giants Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in the summer of 2021. The club also signed Achraf Hakimi, Nuno Mendes, Georginio Wijnaldum and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
PSG were the undoubted winners of the transfer window and were clear favourites for the Champions League trophy. But they lost in the round of 16 to the eventual winners Real Madrid.
Sergio Ramos missed the major chunk of last season due to injury and made just 12 appearances in the Ligue 1 and recorded 2 goals. Lionel Messi too struggled to make his mark in Paris colours. The 35-year-old recorded 11 goals in 34 appearances across all competitions last term. The former El Clasico rivals were rarely on the pitch together. But it seemed like an alternate reality seeing both the players on the same team.
Recently in pre-season Lionel Messi won a penalty against US Quevilly-Rouen Métropole and Sergio Ramos took the penalty to hand PSG the lead. But the old foes were back at it again as Messi was seen having a heated argument with the former Real Madrid captain. The whole incident occurred after Messi dribbled past Ramos and was fouled by the Spanish international in training.
