The Red Dragons dominated the proceedings when these sides last met!
The Wales national football team will now battle it out against the Norway national football team for their third outing of the UEFA Nations League 2026-27 edition. The Cardiff City Stadium is going to witness this entertaining encounter.
The Craig Bellamy-led side have now faced defeats in both of their first two games of the tournament. They first faced a 0-1 loss against Portugal and were then outplayed by Denmark (0-2). The Wales national football team have failed to score a goal in their ongoing campaign so far and will be under pressure for their next one.
Even though they will be at home, it is not going to be an easy outing for them. The Red Dragons will have to do a lot of hard work across the field to stand a chance against Erling Haaland and company.
Norway are coming after suffering a 1-2 loss at the hands of Portugal in their last UEFA Nations League 2026-27 outing. The 36-year-old goalkeeper, Ørjan Nyland, made multiple errors that cost the Landslaget three points. They need to put in better efforts in the backline.
The Norway national football team will be away from home. But with some top stars in the squad, they can push for three points.
Players to Watch
Brennan Johnson (Wales)
Brennan Johnson will be looking to step up his game so that he can get the Wales national football team back to winning ways. He failed to score a goal for his side in the previous outing, but created the joint-most chances (4) for his fellow teammates. They were not enough.
Now, he will be looking to deliver a top performance this time around.
Erling Haaland (Norway)
Erling Haaland continues to be the main source of goals for the Norway national football team. He was the sole goal scorer for his side in their 1-2 loss against Portugal. The 26-year-old took the most shots (8) and had the joint-most touches (7) in the opposition box.
With his current run of form, Haaland will be a constant threat to the opponent’s defence.
