Diomande was on the verge of moving to the Spanish club.
Yan Diomande’s move to Real Madrid has been halted owing to a reported disagreement between the agents engaged in the transfer.
Following Paris Saint-Germain’s withdrawal of interest, RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande agreed to personal terms with Madrid in late July.
Los Blancos will spend more than £100 million for the 19-year-old, and it appeared that the teenager’s move to the Spanish side would transpire.
Revealed why Yan Diomandé’s move to Real Madrid is delayed
AS claims that a “dispute between agents” is preventing his move, with Roc Nation, who have been his agents since February of this year, on one side and former Leeds United player Max Gradel (with his company Maxidel Management) on the other.
According to the report, Maxidel, who helped the Ivory Coast international transfer from Leganes to Leipzig last year, has filed a protest with FIFA, claiming a violation of contract since Madrid have been in talks with rapper Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.

According to the Spanish publication, this “casts a shadow over this transfer” and may directly affect the winger’s registration under FIFA standards. Maxidel claims they have his rights until he formally departs Leipzig, despite Roc Nation’s belief that they are the player’s exclusive representatives.
This is “beyond their control”, and Madrid was “unaware” of it. They will therefore need to “weather the storm,” since the player’s contract with Los Blancos, the cost, and the paperwork are all essentially set to go. However, the Spanish side may be penalised if they pay the incorrect party, which is why it must be resolved.
