When is the 2026–27 Champions League draw
The Champions League league stage draw for 2026–2027 is scheduled for Thursday, August 27 at 5 p.m. BST (12 p.m. ET, 9 a.m. PT, 6 p.m. CEST).
The draw, which was previously broadcast live on UEFA’s official website and YouTube channel, will take place at the organisation’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

When will the league phase start?
Matchday 1 of the league phase, which runs from September 8–10, begins one week earlier than it did the previous year. Due in part to an extended international break, Matchdays 1 and 2 are separated by a month, with more regular scheduling following.
Eight gameweeks make up the league phase, which ends with two rounds of games in the following year. On January 27, 2027, Matchday 8 will take place.
On June 5, 2027, the Estadio Metropolitano will stage its second Champions League final.
