2030 FIFA World Cup will be co-hosted across six countries on three continents. Morocco, Portugal, and Spain are the primary host nations. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the tournament, the opening centenary matches will take place in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay
The tournament will kick off in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay on June 8 and 9, 2030, with special centenary matches, including a symbolic opening match at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo to honor the 1930 inaugural tournament.
The World Cup final is anticipated to take place on July 21; however, FIFA has not yet released the entire match schedule.
Moreover, FIFA is now planning to further expand the number of teams in the competition to 64 after the 2026 edition witnessed a total of 48 nations competing for the trophy.
However, it remains to be seen as the competition is now four years away, and the current champions will now celebrate their win after beating the South American giants Argentina 1-0 to lift their second trophy of the competition.
