The award ceremony will take place in London for the first time!
This marks the 70th anniversary of the Ballon d’Or ceremony. For the first time ever, the award will be presented outside of France. The event is scheduled to take place on Monday, October 26, at the London Palladium and will recognise the best players from the 2025-26 season.
Top stars including Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane, Lamine Yamal and Ousmane Dembele are all set to attend. The Ballon d’Or 2026 ceremony will recognise young talents, goalkeepers, coaches, clubs and outstanding contributions to society.
Luis de la Fuente has produced exceptional performances with the Spain national football team. He recently helped them lift the World Cup, making him a strong case for the Men’s Johan Cruyff Trophy. At the club level, Luis Enrique enjoyed success with Paris Saint-Germain and is going to give a tough fight to de la Fuente.
Harry Kane went on to score 73 goals, including for his club and country. He is one of the favourites to win the men’s award. Kane has strong contenders like Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal battling for the same prize.
