The 2026 edition of the FIFA World Cup is now around the corner. Many nations have unveiled the final list of players for the flagship tournament, but there are still some squads left to be announced.

Many top teams like France, Spain, Brazil and others have already revealed the 26-man roster to represent them at the grandest stage of them all. The reigning world champions, Argentina, are yet to announce the final squad.

June 2, 2026 is the final date to submit the confirmed squads to FIFA. The mega competition is all set to take place in Canada, Mexico and the USA. Every nation have been assigned a dedicated base camp to train. The extended tournament will feature 48 teams this time around and there will be a total of 104 matches contested.

The final of the FIFA World Cup 2026 is all set to be played on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA. It will be interesting to see which nation is going to conquer the world stage this time around. Having won the prestigious trophy five times, Brazil are the record winners.

No nations are expected to announce the final squads today, i.e. May 28, 2026. There are still some days remaining. A few sides are likely waiting for their players to get fit ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and are hence taking their time.

This time around, Group I might become the group of death. Teams like Kylian Mbappe’s France, Erling Haaland’s Norway, Senegal and Iraq are present. They are most likely going to come up with intense fixtures and it will be interesting to see which teams are going to get past the group stage.

Consisting of Brazil, Morocco, Scotland and Haiti, Group C also has the potential to come up with intense clashes.
