Who is Jorge Salinas? Manchester United eye Spanish left-back as Lewis Hall alternative

The Red Devils are in the market for a left-back
Manchester United have been targeting Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall in the ongoing summer transfer window, looking at the youngster as a long-term replacement for Luke Shaw.
The Red Devils have already signed some big names in the summer. Chelsea youngster Andrey Santos joined for £48m. Youri Tielemans joined from Aston Villa in a £35m deal. Colombian youngster Cristian Orozco joined from Fortaleza CEIF for £750,000. Reserve goalkeeper Karl Darlow arrived from Leeds United on a free transfer.
However, left-back is still a position that remains a weak point for the Red Devils. Luke Shaw has turned 31, and he remains injury-prone. Hall emerged as one of the big names linked to Old Trafford, but the deal looks increasingly unlikely, with the Magpies demanding north of £60m.
As a result, Michael Carrick and the United board will need to look elsewhere to shore up their left-back position. One of the players who have been linked to the Red Devils is young Racing Santander full-back Jorge Salinas.
