Barcelona have reportedly sealed a deal to sign 16-year-old Mikael Baza from German club Hamburger SV on a contract until 2029.
The Catalans have been linked with the teenager in recent weeks, and Fabrizio Romano claims a deal has been reached. Baza will join Barcelona Atlètic in the hopes of impressing Juliano Belletti’s side and earning a first-team opportunity with Hansi Flick’s squad.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Flick is a huge fan of Baza and pushed Barcelona to execute a move after hearing he was thinking about joining Serie A club Juventus.

Mikael Baza’s growth has been astonishingly rapid, with the German defender frequently competing against players twice his age. Born on January 12, 2010, he began his youth career with Hamburg-based FC Süderelbe, where he played for five years from 2019 to 2024.
