Ben White Arsenal Premier League

The Gunners are on a three-match winning run against the Seagulls!

Ben White’s Arsenal travelled to the American Express Stadium for their fifth matchweek contest of the English Premier League 2026-27 campaign, but he did not play. Brighton & Hove Albion welcomed the defending champions in what has the potential to become an intense outing.

The Mikel Arteta-led side have secured wins in all of their first seven matches of the season. They began the season by taking out Manchester City to secure the FA Community Shield. The Gunners have also initiated their Premier League title defence on a positive note and it is going to be interesting to see their performances moving forward.

With their current run of form, they are not looking to slow down any time soon. Arsenal have also begun their UEFA Champions League campaign with a 1-0 victory against Napoli. They are eager to continue their form. With the upcoming September-October international window, unfit players will get additional time for their recoveries. One of the notable names who was not included in the squad against Brighton is Ben White, but why?

Ben White suffered a groin injury and was replaced at half-time in the last league outing against Sunderland. To keep his recovery process in place and steady, he has not been included in the Brighton vs Arsenal Premier League clash.

Jurrien Timber gets to start for the first time since March 2026. He will be deployed in his usual right-back position. The 25-year-old Dutchman must put in a top effort, and he will once again become the first-choice fullback under Mikel Arteta.

David Raya is once again guarding the goal. Ezri Konsa, Gabriel Magalhaes and Riccardo Calafiori are going to accompany Timber in the backline.

Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice and Bruno Guimaraes are the main men in the midfield for the Gunners. Christos Tzolis on the left and Bukayo Saka on the right were deployed as the main wingers. The focal point of attack was once again Kai Havertz.
