The couple, in the presence of their kids, exchanged vows in their living room without the need for an opulent location or hundreds of guests.
While many host lavish banquets and invite hundreds of guests, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez tied the knot in the privacy of their living room near Lisbon, Portugal.
It was thought the couple would get married in a big ceremony, but they decided to keep it simple and didn’t make it public. However, it was later confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo got married after his picture with Georgina was released on social media.

Georgina reveals why they decided to get married in their living room
The couple talked more about their straightforward August 11 wedding in Portugal – exactly 10 years after they first met –in an interview with Vogue.
“We’ve chosen to do it in the living room of our house here, where we have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and where we live the reality of our lives. In 30 years time, I want the children to think, Something wonderful happened at this table – the wedding vows of our parents,” Georgina Rodríguez said.
“When I was a little girl, I dreamt of the biggest castle, the biggest carriage, the longest dress, a crown full of diamonds. And now I’m saying: No. I want something intimate, with my partner and our children, at home,” she said.
“Because castles, houses, islands, horses, cars: We have all of that within reach every day. But something intimate – that’s more unusual for us,”
When she was younger, Rodriguez acknowledged that she didn’t always anticipate a straightforward wedding. After their long relationship, the couple finally tied the knot in a simple, elegant manner.
