Led by Ange Postecoglou, Al Nassr are all set to host Al Diriyah for the round of 32 contest of the Saudi King’s Cup 2026-27 edition. This will be an interesting clash, scheduled to take place at Al-Awwal Park.

Al Nassr came up with some underwhelming performances during the pre-season campaign. They only secured one win in four games, but in their opening league game of the new season, Angel Postecoglou’s men looked more in control.
The Big Yellow secured the Saudi top division title last season. They will aim to defend the title and secure the Saudi King’s Cup title as well.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo play against Al Diriyah?
Cristiano Ronaldo joined the Al Nassr squad before their Saudi Pro League opener against Al Fateh. But he was not included in the squad, as he did not play in any of the pre-season games. In the Al Diriyah vs Al Nassr Saudi King’s Cup match, Ronaldo can be included in the squad. He is training with the first team and there is a high chance of him making an appearance.
The 41-year-old Portuguese talisman got married on August 11 to his long-term girlfriend, Georgia Rodriguez.
Even if Ronaldo is not named in the starting XI, he will likely make an appearance from the bench.
