The update culminates a slow comeback to full health for the 41-year-old. He played only 30 minutes in his season debut before being increased to 45 minutes against Al Ettifaq.
Postecoglou noted that the strategy had always been meticulously handled, even when Cristiano Ronaldo sought to stay on the pitch longer.
