Last time’s runners-up will hope that their star striker can contribute with attacking returns, helping the team to a successful campaign once again. She was a key contributor in Chelsea defending their WSL title and lifting the FA Cup.

When it comes to defenders, then Wendie Renard is up there amongst the best in modern women’s football. She is one of the strongest centre-backs at the Women’s Euro 2022 and will hope to lead France to the title. Renard has 14 league titles and eight European Cups with Lyon over the last 16 years.

Ada Hegerberg is a major force in women’s football and a global icon. The Norwegian is vital to the team and plays for Olympique Lyon at the club level. The first-ever recipient of the Ballon d'Or Féminin, she is also the all-time highest goalscorer in UEFA Women's Champions League. Her eyes will be set on winning the golden boot.

Marie-Antoinette Katoto is one of the most lethal strikers in women’s football in the world. She scored an astonishing 32 goals in 33 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain last season. The all-time leading goalscorer for PSG will hope to guide her country to the Women’s Euro 2022 trophy and win the golden boot in the process.
