The 16-year-old has already signed a professional club contract.
Since the turn of this decade, England has become a hub for talented youngsters. Currently, The Three Lions boast a lot of youth, like Jadon Sancho, and Marcus Rashford. Now the European nation has enrolled another prodigy into their setup, in the guise of Celtic wonderkid Karamoko Dembele.
The 16-year-old is considered to be one of the brightest talents in world football, and is expected to shine in the future. He has already been involved in the youth teams of England and Scotland, but has now decided on where his future lies.
Dembele also took to social media to express his delight, captioning a post as, “Looking forward to next season with the boys #ENG16.”

England have been pretty serious in getting Dembele, and made it clear to him by making him captain in a fixture against Ivory Coast (another country, he could have represented). He led his side to a 5-0 win.
Born in London, the youngster was bought up and raised in Glasgow. Although he has stated that he will play for England, Dembele hasn’t made an official decision yet.
He signed his professional contract with Celtic on 24th December 2018, at just 15-years-old. The contract runs until 2021. The Celtic man has already played for Scotland’s U-16 and U-17 teams, making a total of 10 appearances. Meanwhile, for England U-13, he has played three times.
