Aaron Wan-Bissaka to receive £5m payoff from Manchester United to leave club

The right-back has agreed to join West Ham United.
West Ham United and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have reached a five-year agreement. Manchester United will pay him about £5 million as a payoff.
Wan-Bissaka is getting ever closer to joining West Ham United. According to multiple sources, the right-back is in London finishing up his medical.
As part of the revamp at Old Trafford, Wan-Bissaka was identified as one of many players eligible for outgoing transfer this summer. Although other teams have expressed interest in hiring him, West Ham are almost certain to win the contract.
He will join Julen Lopetegui’s team to challenge Vladimir Coufal, who is 31 years old, for the right-back spot. After a short delay in the transfer, his move to London will prove to be United’s best chance to get Noussair Mazraoui.
It is estimated that Wan-Bissaka’s transfer to West Ham will cost a total of £15 million. This amount is far less than the £50 million Manchester United paid Crystal Palace for him in 2019. However, it is estimated that the sale of the 26-year-old will likely result in a profit for United.
Because of amortisation, the club will earn from the sale of the player. The transfer fee that United are getting is fairly in excess of the former Crystal Palace player’s current market valuation.
Manchester United reached an agreement with Bayern Munich for Noussair Mazraoui
Additionally, United and Bayern Munich have reached an agreement on a separate deal. It is for the transfer of Noussair Mazraoui, a right-back, to Old Trafford.
The Premier League team have committed to paying bonuses of €5 million (£4 million/$5 million) in addition to a starting package of €15 million (£12 million/$15 million). The agreement is contingent on Aaron Wan-Bissaka—who is expected to join West Ham—leaving Old Trafford this summer.
Mario Hermoso, a former Atletico Madrid defender, is another player Erik ten Hag’s team are thinking about adding on a free transfer. The 29-year-old Spanish player is capable of playing left-back and central defence.
